Did you know that you are absolutely BEAUTIFUL?
Did you know that you are TALENTED?
Did you know that you are GIFTED?
What about STRONG? Do you recognize the strength you carry?
Let me put my thoughts into perspective for you: there’s a place in this world that’s set aside just for you. It’s a place where everything about you simply shines. It’s that place where you flow and you do what only you can do so well. It’s the place where God’s glory rests upon you. I call it the sweet spot. And oftentimes your preparation period before entering that place can look like you’ve been dealt a bad hand. Not so. Think about it, diamonds - as beautiful as they are, were formed under extreme heat and pressure. Diamonds have to go through a process to shine and look as good as they do. How much more then will you, being greater than any diamond on the face of this earth, have to go through a process in order to shine as bright as you were created to?
There is something about you that I simply do not have and I never will. And neither will anyone else. It’s yours, it’s a part of you and it can’t be taken away from you. It’s part of the reason you are here. And we’d be fools to try to compete with you. What you have is so ingrained inside of you that you have the ability to make it look so easy when you do it. Do you believe that? Do you know what that something is? Do you know what you’re gifted at, what your passion is and what your purpose is? It’s a place where you can thrive and live! I once heard someone say that in order to know what the purpose of a unique product is, you’d have to ask the maker. The product itself can’t tell you why it was made or for what purpose. We may not start off knowing why we’re here and what we were created to do, but we know we’re here to accomplish more than we have and to live better than we have been.
You are a gift to the world and if you’re not operating in that truth or don’t have a clue about how to operate in it, it may be time to schedule a meeting with your maker.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. – Matthew 7:7
